Terms of Service

Runemind, a HUGRUN product. Last updated: 21 June 2026. Applies to the Runemind early-access period.

These terms govern your use of Runemind, operated by HUGRUN Pty Ltd. By using Runemind you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: [email protected].

1. Early access and eligibility

Runemind is currently invite-only and provided on an early-access basis. Features may change, and the service is offered as-is while we build it with the Deaf community. Access is granted per sign language and may be limited or withdrawn.

2. Your content and rights

You keep ownership of the text, video, and gloss you bring to Runemind. You grant HUGRUN a licence to process that content to provide the tools and, as described in our Privacy Policy, to improve Runemind's sign-language technology, including through the anonymised community pool for the relevant language pair. You confirm you have the right to use and share the content you upload.

3. Sign-movement and facial data

The sign-along and teleprompter features capture derived sign-movement and facial-expression measurements (not raw video) to personalise the tools and improve our models. You consent to this when you use those features. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect, how it is held, and how to withdraw consent or request deletion.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Runemind to break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you have no right to use. Do not upload embargoed or confidential material to the cloud tiers; contact us about Runemind Build (confidential mode) for sensitive work.

5. Plans and billing

Paid plans, where offered, are billed as described at sign-up. During early access, pricing and plan details may change and will be confirmed before any charge. You can contact us to change or cancel.

6. Availability and liability

We work to keep Runemind available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service during early access. To the extent permitted by law, HUGRUN is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
